Itinerary

DAY 1

• Pick up from Auckland or Hamilton accommodation approx 10.00am by your Aotearoa Tour Driver/ Personal Guide travelling to Waitomo Glowworm Caves (45 minute tour), through Te Kuiti, Taumaranui, Tongariro National Park, to Ohakune located at the southern base of Mt Ruapehu (an active volcano).
• Stay two nights in Ohakune, a winter resort town.

DAY 2

• Depart for the ski slopes following breakfast to Turoa Ski Field, located on the south western slopes of Mt Ruapehu – New Zealand's largest volcano. Wide gentle runs for the novice to black runs for the experienced, Turoa has world class facilities including ski / snowboard and rental equipment, restaurants and views of the slopes (weather dependent for skiing – other activities are available if fields are closed … ski lift passes /equipment rental at own cost)
• Return to accommodation at end of the day (approx. 4.00pm).
  

DAY 3

• Depart for another day skiing following breakfast, leaving the ski slopes approx. 3.30pm for return to Hamilton or Auckland.
